I am glad to have a really good student model Tenor saxophone to offer you. This Yamaha Tenor is in great shape. I have gone over this horn from top to bottom. All the pads are in good shape and it has been completely regulated. Plus, it has been cleaned thoroughly. So, it needs nothing else. Great Alto Sax! An outstanding playing student model horn. As of 9/22/10, I just repadded this instrument. This means it was 1) completely disassembled, 2) keys buffed, 3) everything washed, 4) all corks replaced, 5) all pads replaced.  By the way, the pads are waterproofed. Better than your average sax pads. This means they will last longer than normal pads. More durable. I have included a new Yamaha Alto sax mouthpiece, ligature,  mouthpiece cap, neck strap and two reeds. If this deal gets any better I might buy the horn! Beginning band students need a good quality instrument when first starting to play. This is just such an instrument.  A Gemeinhardt “2SP” Flute. The “SP” stands for silver plated. The silver plating makes for a better sounding instrument. We have completely disassembled the flute for a thorough cleaning. All regulation and adjustment has been done. This flute plays as well as it did the day it came out of the Gemeinhardt factory.

King has been making student model instruments for decades. This is a perfect horn for the first year band student. As with all of our brass instruments this one has been Chemically Cleaned. This is an upgrade from your student model flute. First, it is silver plated, second, it is an open-hole flute (definitely a feature of a better quality instrument) and third, it has a low “B” foot joint (also a feature of a better quality instrument). As your playing improves you will appreciate, not only, the sound quality of this flute but its enhanced features. Come try it.

I just acquired this horn. This is a mid-90′s Tenor that  is absolutely pristine. The neck and body have a black lacquered finish. The inside of the bell is gold lacquered and the keys are gold lacquered. It comes in a Selmer Sax-Pak case. In other words, the case is shaped like the body of the horn. Like a sax! A Selmer C* mouthpiece is included. Super nice!

Here is a classic saxophone. A 1959 “Super 20″ Alto Sax. Serial #358863. There is engraving on top of many of the keys. Also, the neck is silver. The only thing more impressive than its appearance is the way it sounds. It has a big sound for an alto. Let me know if you would like to check out this horn.

Here we have a professional instrument that looks new. A great tenor trombone for jazz or classical. It comes in the original case, which also looks like new. The “Stradivarius” name is only attached to Bach brass instruments that are considered Top of the Line! I found this same model on the web for what I thought was $1095.00. It turned out to be $1095.00 Euro’s. That is approximately $1600.00 US dollars! SOLD

This looks like a new horn. It appears to have been barely played. Of course, we still completely cleaned it inside and out. NEW, the list price for this horn would be over $800.00! It’s a real Blessing to find a horn in this condition and at this price. Don’t you agree? SOLD

Here is another fine example of a flute for a beginning student. A nickel plated Armstrong Flute. We just did a complete cleaning and complete regulation & adjustment.

A great flute for a beginning student. Silver plated! I just repadded it on 3/29/10 so, it plays as well as a new horn. If you are looking for a good instrument without a big price then this is your flute. Come by the shop and take a look at it. Give it a test run.

A great deal for an excellent instrument. It is in the original leather case. Included with this horn is a Vandoren B-45 mouthpiece, and two barrels. A Moennig 65.5mm barrel and a Chadash 65.0 mm barrel. We did some pad work and replaced all tenon and mouthpiece corks. Come to the shop and give this clarinet a try.

This Buffet R13 was made in 1971. It comes in an almost new Buffet leather case. A Vandoren B45 mouthpiece is included. We have done a bit of work to this horn to get it ready to play. The upper joint has all cork pads. They will last noticeably longer than felt pads. This will reduce your maintenance cost. If you are considering an upgrade from your student model or mid-line instrument this is your answer.

Here is a bit of history regarding the  Buffet R13. The R13 series was developed in 1955 under the guidance of Robert Carrée. The R13 clarinet quickly became the legendary choice of professional musicians. Musicians are charmed by its rich and focused sound, its power in all registers and its flexibility. The R13 is suitable for all types of musician, symphony or chamber music, soloists, teachers, those in marching bands, students and amateurs.

This is a 1959 Selmer Mark VI Tenor! Nothing else is quite like a Mark VI. The serial number is #82828. A “five digit” serial number horn is highly sought after. The serial number on the neck matches the serial number on the body. That’s always important to verify. I played this horn for 15 years and always kept it in top notch playing condition. It has been well cared for. I have consistently seen horns of this era sell for $7000.00 or more.

It comes in a Selmer Sax Pak case with carrying strap. The case is nicely padded inside. A Berg Larsen 95/2 Metal mouthpiece is included with this horn.
