Yamaha “YAS-875” Alto Sax (Custom Series)
Here is a true gem that I ran across recently. This sax was made in 2000 and it looks like it just came off the assembly line. I just finished doing a complete repad on this bad boy. What does this mean "a complete repad? You have to say that last line with a Russian accent. A complete repad - 1st - the sax is completely disassembled, 2nd - we remove all the old pads, 3rd - everything is de-greased and then washed, 4th - I level all the tone holes and all of the keys, 5th - I start reassembling it and putting in the pads, changing the neck cork and key corks as needed. Etc., etc., etc. I could go on and on, oh wait a minute I have been, but that's the main part of a complete repad. Anyway, it comes in its original hard shell case and I have included the original Yamaha Custom mouthpiece with an after market Rovner ligature, mouthpiece cap and the original neck strap that has never been used. It's still in the original packaging. Come see it, come try it, come buy it.
