This flute is perfect for a beginning player or a novice player that is looking for a lower cost instrument. As always, I disassembled the flute and cleaned all the parts then I reassembled it and adjusted everything that needs adjusting. I think it plays very well and it’s in very good condition. It comes in its original case and it comes with a tuning rod/cleaning rod. That’s the long wooden thing in the photo.

The Yamaha YFL-581 is a professional flute with a sterling silver body, silver-plated keys, and an inline G and B foot plus it has a solid silver headjoint and foot joint. The YFL-581 has wonderful tone quality and excellent projection. While doing research on this instrument I saw some reviews that say this is one of the best instruments Yamaha has ever made. Of course I did a complete overhaul on this flute. It’s ready to be played.
