"Bb" Yamaha YCL-255 Clarinet
This is the current model of Yamaha's student clarinets. I recently purchased this instrument and, frankly, it looks like it has never been played. This clarinet has an ABS resin body with a matte finish that imitates the look of a wood clarinet. It has synthetic pads which are very durable and are perfect for marching band situations where you don't want to take your wooden clarinet. Brand new this clarinet sells for $1198.00 so, $850.00 is a great price for an instrument in like new condition.

Selmer "Omega" Clarinet (Intermediate Model)
Since this is a better than “student model” instrument, I would recommend it for anyone moving up from their beginning clarinet. This Selmer “Omega” model MG286, is made of grenadilla wood, which means it’s a good quality instrument and definitely better than a plastic clarinet. I literally just finished overhauling it meaning, it was completely disassembled, all parts were cleaned, the wood was oiled (bore oiled), all the pads were replaced, everything has been regulated and adjusted. It plays as good as it did when it was new. I have included a ligature, mouthpiece cap and a new Yamaha 4C mouthpiece and I’ve also put the clarinet in a brand-new case. Call 434-973-4299 to schedule an appointment to come try it out.

"Bb" Yamaha "YCL-650" Clarinet (Pro-Model)
I’ve always liked Yamaha clarinets and this one is no exception. The Yamaha YCL-650 is a professional clarinet made from grenadilla wood. It has a fully integrated bell and barrel design, blue-steel needle springs for fast and responsive action, and an adjustable thumbrest. The keywork is well made, the action feels nice under the fingers, and it has lots of clarity. Actually the keys are silver-plated. Again, I did a complete overhaul on this excellent instrument which means it plays like a new clarinet. Come give it a try.

"Bb" Buffet "R-13" Greenline Clarinet (Pro-Model)
The Buffet Crampon R13 Greenline is a clarinet made with a proprietary wood and polycarbonate composite. It has the same intonation and response as its wooden counterpart, but is more durable and can withstand extreme changes in temperature and humidity. I, of course, completely overhaulled the clarinet which means, disassembled, cleaned, all pads changed & all corks changed then I reassmebled it and completely regulated it and adjusted it. Like any instrument that I repair, it plays like a new horn. Call me at 434-973-4299 and schedule an appointment. Come see it, come try it, come buy it!
