The YFL_200AD is the perfect student model flute for any beginner of any age. Easy to play, plays well in tune with itself and it sounds good. I just finished doing my normal maintenance meaning, I disassembled the instrument, cleaned it, oiled the keys and adjusted it so it plays as well as when it was new. It comes in its original case and is ready to play. The new version of this flute sells for over $1100.00 so, $550.00 is a great deal for this instrument.

This is a great beginning instrument for a student. Plus, this is the current Yamaha student model flute so, it’s very new. Obviously, it’s in great condition. This flute is perfect for a beginning player or a novice player that is looking for a lower cost instrument. As always, I disassembled the flute and cleaned all the parts then I reassembled it and adjusted everything that needs adjusting. I think it plays very well and it’s in very good condition. It comes in its original case and it comes with a tuning rod/cleaning rod. That’s the long wooden thing in the photo.

The Yamaha YFL-581 is a professional flute with a sterling silver body, silver-plated keys, and an inline G and B foot plus it has a solid silver headjoint and foot joint. The YFL-581 has wonderful tone quality and excellent projection. While doing research on this instrument I saw some reviews that say this is one of the best instruments Yamaha has ever made. Of course I did a complete overhaul on this flute. It’s ready to be played.
